Biography Worker Training Course

Established by Fumiko Chikami in 2001.
The course develops the knowledge and qualities necessary for biography workers through two years each of basic and advanced courses.
Currently, the 3rd Advance Course and the 4th and 5th (Fukuoka) Foundation Courses are being held in parallel, with the 6th Foundation Course starting in April 2010 and the 7th (Fukuoka) Foundation Course starting in September 2010.

In January 2008, the Professional Biography Workers Jupiter, a professional organisation that supports the enrichment of the activities of biography workers, was established with the first and second term students who completed the training course. The organisation has expanded considerably, with a series of courses and workshops organised by biography workers who have left the training course.
