Aims, Goals

The aim of the training was to set a first impulse to incarnate biography work based on Anthroposophy in Georgia and to start to raise public awareness about biography work.
The first goal was to put into practice a first training cycle of three years of a professional training in biography work in Georgia and to train the first Georgian biography workers (biographical counsellors).
The second goal was to reach through the public lectures a broader (anthroposophical) public.

Certification
1. Basic Training Certificate
The basic training certificate, issued by the “Association for Biography Work in Georgia” after the first training year, noted the presence at all weekends of every subject, the written biography of a client and its presentation in the training group as well as the participation at a study group.

2. Final Diploma
The Final Diploma, issued by the “Association for Biography Work in Georgia”, required, in addition to the completion of the first training year, on one hand the attendance of 80% of the second and third training year accompanied with individual summaries of the content and the personal experiences and on the other hand the second year’s thesis about a client’s biography and the diploma thesis about the biography of a historical person and their presentation to the group.

Duration
The training was conceived for three years and should have lasted from November 2017 until November 2020, with five modules of two weekends, in total ten weekends, every year.
Due to Covid 19 travel and event restrictions in Georgia, the training had to be interrupted from January until June 2020, so that the training ended in June 2021.
